Someone threatened to kidnap a 14-year-old girl unless she sent back nude photos through a smartphone app, according to police reports.

The girl and her father reported Tuesday that the 14-year-old received the threat through the social media website Kik.

Police reports say investigators requested an “Emergency Disclosure Request” form from the Canada-based company because of the kidnapping threat. Detectives said on Wednesday they have not yet received the information they requested from Kik. Read more…
