Many may think that Facebook is most popular with the younger audience like teenagers, but recent studies revealed that Facebook is losing popularity among teens faster than ever. US teens appear to have outgrown the most popular social media platform and many tend to move toward other sources of internet fun, like Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram.
The recent report shows that Americans between the ages of 13 and 17 who are frequent users of social media are leaving Facebook faster than ever. The percentage of the accounts is dropping six points from last year’s 94% to 88% in 2014, compared to a single point from 2012 to 2013.
